IRC Network Business Growth Services Annual Report 2005-2006

In 2005, following a carefully researched and thought-out strategy, Pennsylvania's IRC's began helping small and medium-sized manufacturers build top line revenues and profitability.  Business Growth Services, or BGS, saw the first full year of activity during 2005-2006.  The seven centers created a network-wide task force to move BGS from concept to reality.  Fully defining the program, the IRC's carried out BGS projects with measurable impact, exceeded goals for projects and companies served, gained early return on investment, and positioned the program and its clients for long term growth.

Nexus Business Growth Services Study Nexus Associates was retained by Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Centers Network to undertake a study on the market for business growth services.  This report summarizes the principal findings of the market study.  The report is based on the results of a telephone survey of manufacturers in Pennsylvania.  The survey was used to identify the product attributes that are most valued by manufacturers, determine the specific factors that drive purchase decisions, identify the kinds of companies that are most likely to purchase the new services, and generate a list of qualified leads.
